Hoy 20 de marzo, a las 6:00 am ingresaron 8,520 toneladas de productos alimenticios en 830 camiones procedentes de la costa, sierra y selva del país.
El Gran Mercado Mayorista de Lima, confirma el abastecimiento de alimentos que necesita la ciudadanía en la capital, después de sufrir el bloqueo de carreteras durante 5 días por consecuencia al paro de transportistas. Los precios de los alimentos se vienen normalizando y se espera que para el lunes regresen a su normalidad, por ejemplo, la zanahoria que llegó a costar S/5.00 Kg. hasta el día jueves, ayer bajó a S/2.00 y hoy se vende en S/1.00 Kg.
Por su parte, el limón cuesta S/3.50 Kg., arveja S/4.00 Kg., apio S/6.00 (atado por 7 unidades), espinaca S/3.00 Kg. choclo S/1.20 (unidad), papa amarilla S/3.00 Kg., papa única S/1.50, papa Yungay S/1.50 Kg., cebolla roja S/1.20 Kg., zapallo macre desde S/1.50 Kg., ajo S/7.25, camote S/0.95, coliflor S/1.10, culantro S/1.84 (atado).
La Empresa Municipal de Mercados S.A. (Emmsa), sigue ofreciendo facilidades de ingreso para los camiones de carga, incluso hasta fuera del horario pactado para poder garantizar una mayor oferta de productos. Asimismo, aconseja a los comerciantes del mercado evitar los comentarios negativos sobre los precios, ya que esto afecta en la economía de las familias.
Las medidas contra la Covid-19, siguen al pie de mando. Todos los visitantes que asistan a realizar sus compras deberán usar correctamente la mascarilla y pasar por la cámara térmica que mide su temperatura. Posteriormente, el lavado de manos en los caños instalados al ingreso del mercado y lo más importante, cumplir con el debido distanciamiento social.
