Yuri Gutiérrez, Alcalde de Huamanga, comentó que lamenta que la canción “Flor de retama” se encuentre vinculada al terrorismo.
“Toda la población ayacuchana en su conjunto, que ahora es pujante con la cultura artesana y musical, está indignada porque se relaciona la canción emblemática para todos, como la Flor de Retama, como si fuera una apología terrorista “, menciona Gutiérrez.
Y es que por años han vinculado este huayno Ayacuchano interpretado por Martina Portocarrero con agrupaciones terrorista y algunas personas erróneamente dicen que fue escrita por Abimael Guzmán.
“No tiene nada que ver la canción con el terrorismo porque son momentos diferentes de la historia; tienen más de 10 años de diferencia” agregó.
La canción “Flor de retama” se escribió en 1969 por el profesor ayacuchano Ricardo Dolorier Urbano, después de que en el Gobierno de Velasco se eliminaba la educación gratuita para los alumnos que desaprobaban cursos, ante ello el pueblo Ayacuchano se levantó en protesta ocasionando 20 muertos, es por esta situación que el autor se inspiró en la canción.
El Alcalde de Huamanga afirma que en su gestión entregó flores de Retama en las principales calles huamanguinas. “Nos hemos puesto al frente para poder motivar la unidad de nuestra identidad” añadió.
