El Programa Nacional de Becas (PRONABEC) anuncia que este año tienen disponible 150 becas para estudiar maestrías y doctorados en las 400 mejores universidades del mundo, según los rankings QS World, ARWU y Times Higher Education.
El coordinador de Procesos de Gestión de Becas del Pronabec , Julio Moreno, nos especifica acerca de las becas para este 2021.
“El año pasado postularon alrededor de 1,400 personas, quienes estuvieron interesadas en las becas. Desde hace dos años venimos entregando 150 becas al año, que son para estudiar una maestría o doctorado. Ese es el número que Pronabec se propone para el año 2021”
De igual manera menciona los requisitos para poder lograr obtener una de estas beneficiosas becas.
“De acuerdo con el reglamento del Pronabec es necesario tener nacionalidad peruana, contar con un grado académico, técnico o título profesional, debe haber logrado un alto rendimiento en sus estudios de superiores, tener una carta de aceptación de la universidad a la que se ha postulado y acreditar insuficientes recursos económicos para poder financiar sus estudios de posgrado”
Finalmente nos comenta acerca de lo que cubre la beca de maestrías y doctorados.
“Se cubre todo lo que el estudiante requiera: transporte internacional, alojamiento, alimentación, movilidad, materiales de estudios, seguro médico. Él o ella no deberán preocuparse por ningún tipo de aspectos económicos y solo concentrarse en lograr estudios satisfactorios”, añade Moreno.
A su vez cabe destacar que, para postular a estas becas, se debe elegir la especialidad orientada a la investigación científica e investigación tecnológica, áreas en que el país tiene déficit y requiere de profesionales con la mencionada especialización.
