En el marco del Día del Trabajador, el congresista Lenin Checco se reunió con representantes de la Confederación General de Trabajadores del Perú y quienes por años exigen una Asamblea Constituyente para una Nueva constitución.
“Ante la invitación del Secretario General, Jerónimo López de la CGTP, aprovecho para saludar a todos los compañeros trabajadores del Perú, muchos de ellos han perdido la vida, otros tanto han perdido su trabajo a raíz de este proceso de sistema en el cual nos encontramos. A pesar de ello, seguimos trabajando por la conquista de vuestros derechos, de tantos beneficios que anteriormente han sido pisoteados. Feliz día del trabajador compañeros” manifestó el congresista Lenin Checco.
Cabe resaltar que la CGTP indicó que hoy habrá movilización en las calles en conmemoración a el “Día Internacional del Trabajador” en homenaje a los “Mártires de Chicago” quienes no tenían una norma que protegía sus derechos y eran vulnerados constantemente. En ese sentido, la CGTP convoca a todas las organizaciones de la sociedad civil organizada, jóvenes, estudiantes, campesinos y todos los que puedan sumar esfuerzos para exigir una Asamblea Constituyente, Nueva Constitución.
«Saludamos también la presencia de la compañera Dina Boluarte, candidata a la Vice Presidencia por Perú Libre en la marcha, pidiendo que garantice la defensa de los derechos laborales y trabaje por los pueblos del Perú profundo» concluyó el parlamentario.
