Miembros de la comisión especial del Congreso que investiga la presunta corrupción en el sector construcción buscan viajar a inicios de junio a Estados Unidos para interrogar al expresidente Alejandro Toledo.
Así lo confirmó al diario El Comercio la legisladora y secretaria de dicho grupo parlamentario, Felícita Tocto “Hace aproximadamente dos semanas nos llegó una comunicación de su abogado anunciando que el señor Toledo iba a declarar para la investigación que lleva la comisión de manera presencial, que de otra forma no lo haría porque supuestamente no le garantiza para él una adecuada intervención”, comentó.
La congresista adelantó que, hasta el momento, no se ha decidido qué integrantes de la comisión especial viajarán al país norteamericano para el interrogatorio y que el viaje se realizaría del 2 al 6 de junio.
Cabe indicar que el campo de investigación de este grupo parlamentario se inicia en la década de 1990 y aborda a todas las instancias del Estado peruano, pero privilegia lo actuado desde el Ministerio de Transportes y Comunicaciones (MTC).
