Cada 3 de marzo se celebra el Día Mundial de la Naturaleza, con el fin de concientizar a la humanidad, sobre el cuidado de nuestra flora y fauna del planeta.
Desde el año 2013, se celebra el Día de la Naturaleza o Día Mundial de la Vida Silvestre. Esta fecha fue proclamada por la Asamblea General de la Naciones Unidas (ONU) con el único propósito de recordar el valor que debe tener el medio ambiente. Asimismo, se busca luchar contra los delitos que afectan a la naturaleza ambiental, social y económico.
Lo que pretenden recordar con esta celebración, son los beneficios de biodiversidad para la humanidad; entre ellas: las ecológicas, genéticas, económicas, sociales, educativas, recreativas, científicas y culturales.
El Día de la Naturaleza, tiene anualmente una temática distinta. Este 2021 será llamada “Sosteniendo toda la vida en la Tierra” Es un lema muy contundente que ayudará para el recuerdo de niños y adultos.
