Se realizará una nueva edición del Festival de Artes Escénicas de Lima 2021 (FAE LIMA) esta vez de manera virtual debido a la pandemia del COVID-19. Las fechas de realización son del 04 al 13 de marzo, y para ello Sergio Llusera, vocero del Festival nos comenta diversos detalles.
Sumando este año el Centro Cultural de España como socio pleno, son siete instituciones las que respaldan este festival, junto con el Británico Cultural, el Centro Cultural de la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, el Centro Cultural de la Universidad de Lima, el Centro Cultural de la Universidad del Pacífico, el Gran Teatro Nacional y Teatro La Plaza.
“Continuamos trabajando unidos”, indica Sergio Llusera, miembro del equipo organizador del FAE. “A mí me conmueve ver cómo se sostiene esta voluntad conjunta, a pesar de las dificultades de cada institución. Siempre tenemos una mirada por encima de los intereses individuales, pensando en el sector escénico”, señala.
Este año 2021 es un aniversario muy esperado y está relacionado con los 50 años del grupo Yuyachkani. Debido a la pandemia no se podrá llevar a cabo una celebración popular y callejera, pero si de manera virtual. “Yuyachkani es uno de los grupos más importantes de América Latina, un referente internacional esencial del teatro más disidente y político”, comenta Llusera.
Con un formato de teatro grabado en vivo y transmitido en diferido, el festival este año propone un cartel internacional.
