Tras haberse conocido de qué en Lima algunas enfermeras aplicaron la jeringa vacía de la vacuna contra el COVID-19, en el distrito de Trujillo iniciaron la vacunación de adultos mayores de 70 años y para no tener estas dificultades fueron capacitadas las enfermeras para enseñar todos los pasos de la vacunación a los familiares de los adultos mayores y que tengan la confianza de qué se les está aplicando correctamente la vacuna.
Claudia Olguín jefa de atención primaria de Esalud “La libertad” señaló que todas las enfermeras que apliquen la vacuna están en la obligación de mostrar la jeringa con la dosis a los familiares.
“Nosotros hemos capacitado a nuestro personal de vacunación para que sea accesible y transparente este proceso, hay personal monitoreando que no suceda los imprevistos, pues si incurren en una falta tendrían que ser sancionadas administrativamente y posteriormente hasta ser denunciadas”, comentó Holguín.
