Grupo parlamentario solicita conocer acciones y sanciones para salvaguardar transparencia en el escrutinio electoral
El grupo parlamentario del Frente Amplio solicitó al ministro de Relaciones Exteriores, Allan Wagner Tizón, información documentada y detallada sobre el incidente que involucra el audio de un funcionario de Torre Tagle con el traslado de 56 actas electorales desde Hartford, en los Estados Unidos hacia el Perú.
El vocero de la agrupación, Yvan Quispe Apaza, solicitó, así mismo, la precisión de las acciones adoptadas por la Cancillería para evitar casos análogos, luego de darse a conocer dio episodio por parte de una periodista del diario español El País.
Quispe Apaza refirió que, aunque dicho funcionario no ha sido aún identificado, habría vulnerado el principio de neutralidad electoral al sentar posiciones claras de apoyo hacia una candidata durante el ejercicio de sus roles como representante diplomático de nuestro país en el exterior.
El Frente Amplio considera que, pese a que oficialmente la Cancillería ha confirmado la identidad de dicho funcionario y lo ha relevado de la tarea de transportar a Lima las referidas actas electorales, corresponde conocer las acciones y sanciones que se impondrán, en salvaguarda del prestigio y buena imagen del ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores, pero, sobre todo, por la transparencia que debe tener el escrutinio electoral.
