Apoyo fue anunciando en conferencia de prensa.
Debido a la emergencia sanitaria por consecuencia de la Covid-19, el ministro de Cultura, Alejandro Neyra y la titular del MIDIS, Silvana Vargas junto al Gobierno, otorgaron 365 toneladas de productos alimenticios a poblaciones en situación de vulnerabilidad, mediante el eje alimentario de la estrategia realizada por el Ministerio de Inclusión y Desarrollo Social (MIDIS).
Este apoyo se dio a través de la Operación Donaciones, que incluye al sector privado, al Ministerio de Defensa, INDECI, la Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros, así como el programa Qali Warma del MIDIS.
La titular del MIDIS, comentó que en estos momentos se está trabajando en implementación de una partida presupuestal adicional por un monto de S/ 35 millones esto ayudará, por un periodo de cuatro meses seguir atendiendo las necesidades de los comedores populares y a la atención que brinda Qali Warma.
Asimismo, tocaron temas como la entrega de bonos y sobre el nuevo lote de dosis de vacunas. Sobre el bono, señaló que hasta la fecha se ha entregado el Bono 600 a 2.4 millones de hogares y este subsidio representa un desembolso de alrededor de S/ 1,400 millones.
Sobre la llegada del nuevo lote de dosis, el ministro de Cultura, Alejandro Neyra, informó que este miércoles 31 de marzo llegará al Perú un nuevo lote de 49,140 dosis de vacunas Pfizer, completando las 250,380 dosis pactadas para el primer trimestre. Agregó que, a partir de abril, se recibirán 200,070 dosis por semana, que suman un total 800,280 dosis para el próximo mes.
Ante ello, Neyra invocó a la ciudadanía a no bajar la guardia, tras recordar recordar las medidas extraordinarias que se aplicarán durante la Semana Santa para continuar luchando contra la pandemia de la covid-19.
