Piero Corvetto, Jefe de la Oficina Nacional de Procesos Electorales (ONPE) , afirmó que «Los muertos no votan», debido a supuestas irregularidades en las elecciones por las personas fallecidas en el padrón electoral.
«El elector debe ir con un DNI físico, ese DNI físico debe ser contrastado con la identidad del elector y ello se produce por los tres miembros de mesa. Además de la presencia de los personeros de cada uno de los partidos políticos», afirmó Corvetto.
De igual manera, recordó que el padrón electoral se cierra un año antes de la primera vuelta y que se utilizará el mismo padrón electoral.
Dicha información fue aprobada por el Jurado Nacional de Elecciones (JNE) a través de la Resolución N* 0303-2020 – JNE.
