Ante los supuestos rumores de un posible fraude electoral, el presidente del Jurado Nacional de Elecciones, Jorge Salas, expresó que todo el sistema electoral garantiza unas elecciones correctas.

El presidente del Jurado Nacional de Elecciones (JNE), Jorge Luis Salas Arenas, rechazó tajantemente las insinuaciones sobre un posible fraude en el proceso electoral de las próximas Elecciones Generales 2021, informando que el procedimiento de este organismo, consiste en “muchísimas etapas y cada una de ellas se está clausurando de manera idónea para llegar al momento de la votación”. 

“Hablar de fraude electoral es un hecho que no vamos a permitir, no solo que no se produzca, sino que tampoco se anuncie ni que se enturbien los comicios en medio de las circunstancias tan difíciles como las que estamos pasando”, expresó en un en vivo en redes sociales.

También manifestó, que es sumamente delicado hablar de un fraude o estafa electoral en “medio de un proceso en desarrollo”, resaltando que desde el 2001, “no existe” ningún informe que exprese dicha conclusión.  

“Desde el año 2001 no existe ni un solo informe de misiones internacionales y nacionales que concluya la ejecución de un proceso electoral fraudulento. Hoy tenemos plena coordinación con las misiones nacionales e internacionales por la participación de observadores a las Elecciones Generales 2021”.

 Por último, precisó que los procesos de exclusión de tachas evaluados por el pleno del JNE y sus resoluciones, generan disconformidad y reclamos por parte de las agrupaciones políticas; pero, esto no interfiere a favor de alguna en específico.
