El día de hoy 20 de febrero, el Ministro de Educación, Ricardo Cuenca comunicó que están prontos a publicar un reglamento que establece las condiciones básicas para las Instituciones Educativas de Gestión Privada.
Este reglamento busca que las escuelas privadas brinden un servicio bueno, con infraestructura y mobiliario adecuado, así como la gestión institucional y pedagógica para el óptimo aprendizaje, a su vez que cuenten con directivos calificados y capacitados.
Según las cifras del Ministerio de Educación entre los años 2006 y 2020 se incrementó un 35% de nuevos colegios privados entre 10 mil a 13 mil aperturados.
“El espíritu del reglamento no consiste en cerrar escuelas privadas, sino que brinden un servicio educativo bueno, mediante una gestión transparente y con igualdad de oportunidades para todos. Este conjunto de normas permite la predictibilidad de la oferta”, afirma Cuenca.
Los colegios tendrán tres años para adecuarse a las condiciones de calidad y luego de ello, dos años más para reajustar algunas de ellas, contabilizándose a partir de la publicación oficial de la norma.
Consideramos que es una alternativa para asegurar que los servicios educativos sean de calidad, partiendo de que se viene un retorno presencial, donde tienen que haber las condiciones mínimas de salubridad para el desarrollo óptimo de la prestación del servicio en bienestar de los estudiantes.
