Alejandro Neyra, ministro de Cultura, afirma que el apoyo económico alcanzó para casi 750 artistas de la región.
Cabe señalar, que el sector cultura es uno de los más afectados dentro de esta pandemia. Los espacios de entretenimiento o conciertos masivos se mantienen cerrados ante las medidas sanitarias. Es por ese motivo que los artistas fueron añadidos en los grupos de ayuda económicas estatales.
Alejandro Neyra, sustenta que el dinero no es un bono, sino una subvención para determinados proyectos culturales. Los rangos oscilan entre S/ 1500 y S/ 75 mil. También informó que hubo gente que no estuvo en el primer listado de beneficiarios, ya que el dinero no alcanzó para todo y que este grupo deberá ser cubierto con los 20 millones de soles extra que destinó el gobierno a nivel nacional.
El grupo de beneficiaries se encuentran actores, productores de cine o artes escénicas, artesanos y músicos. Debido a las complicaciones de la pandemia, Neyra sugirió que sigan con las medidas sanitarias aprobadas, las artes escénicas al aire libre en ciudades como Arequipa, solo pueden desarrollarse con un aforo del 30%.
Además, Alejandro Neyra hoy prevé reunirse con la Municipalidad de Arequipa, donde conversarán sobre el paso del Sistema Integrado de Transportes (SIT) por el Centro Histórico. Comentó que podrían coexistir, siempre que no haya un daño al patrimonio.
