El Ministerio de Cultura brindará un programa de charlas virtuales denominado “Desafíos Museales” en el marco del Bicentenario del Perú, en coordinación con la Embajada de Estados Unidos y el Instituto Smithsoniano.

El Ministerio de Cultura brindará un programa de charlas virtuales denominado: “Desafíos Museales”, en el marco del Bicentenario del Perú, en coordinación con la Embajada de Estados Unidos y el Instituto Smithsoniano.

El Instituto Smithsoniano es una importante organización de los Estados Unidos en el rubro de educación e investigación, conformada por 19 museos, 9 centros de investigación y un zoológico en Estados Unidos y Panamá.

“Desafíos Museales” busca la participación de reconocidos especialistas de museos del Instituto Smithsoniano ya que dialogarán con célebres especialistas peruanos para compartir experiencias.

“Este programa de diálogo y reflexión entre destacados especialistas de museos peruanos y del Instituto Smithsoniano, nos permitirá conocer las acciones creativas y resilientes de los museos en esta difícil coyuntura, y poder generar aprendizajes en función de nuestros contextos y posibilidades”, afirmó Carlos Del Águila, director de la Dirección General de Museos del Ministerio de Cultura.

Las charlas se desarrollarán desde febrero hasta noviembre, se analizarán los procesos, actividades y retos de las diversas áreas que ejecutan los museos, especialmente teniendo en cuenta el lema planteado por el Consejo Internacional de Museos (ICOM) para este año 2021 “El futuro de los museos: recuperar y reimaginar”.

El conversatorio se transmitirá en vivo el lunes 15 de febrero, a las 06:00 p.m., con traducción en simultáneo, vía Cultura 24.tv.
