El ministro de cultura Alejandro Neyra indicó en conferencia de prensa del Consejo de ministros que nadie se va a quedar sin vacuna contra la COVID-19 y solicitó a la población respetar el plan de vacunación nacional.
De igual manera se pronunció acerca de qué el gobierno viene acelerando la vacunación.
“Mañana vamos a renovar la vacunación de mayores de 70 años. Asimismo, quiero informarles que hasta el momento se han vacunado 147 072 adultos mayores de Lima Metropolitana y el Callao”, señaló Neyra.
También indicó que tienen planificado vacunar a 190 mil personas en 50 centros de vacunación entre el sábado 8 al 10 de mayo.
Finalmente convocó a los adultos mayores de 70 años que aún no se han acercado a aplicarse la vacuna.
“A los mayores de 70 años que hayan quedado rezagados les informamos que podrán ser atendidos el martes 11 de mayo. Aquellas personas que no figuran en el padrón, les recordamos que también serán atendidas si demuestran con un recibo de servicio público, de agua, electricidad que residen en el distrito de punto de vacunación. Al igual que los adultos mayores que no se vacunaron”, añadió.
