El compositor peruano Pedro Suárez Vértiz solicitó a los candidatos presidenciales eliminar el feminicidio debido al crecimiento de asesinatos hacia las mujeres que se registra en el Perú.
El compositor de ‘Cuando pienses en volver’ escribió en su cuenta de Instagram, añadiendo la típica frase “Más me pegas, más te quiero” y continuó con su escrito:
“Quiero con urgencia, ayudar a reducir esos números de horror feminicidas que nos acompañan todos los días en las noticias. En Estados Unidos, Canadá y el Reino Unido las leyes señalan que, si no hay consenso, hay violación. En el Perú se hizo una modificación importante del artículo 170 reconociendo que se debe considerar violación sexual cuando exista la falta de libre consentimiento, no solo cuando haya violencia o grave amenaza, tenemos que dejar bien claro el asunto: No es No y si no hay un sí claro y explícito entonces sigue siendo No. Así tengamos que reescribir leyes. Eso nos hará reescribir la historia. Los dos candidatos deben incluir en sus propuestas eliminar este mal endémico al que están sometidas las mujeres peruanas, y que penosamente es parte de nuestra cultura. Recuerden el peruanismo: ‘Más me pegas, más te quiero’”, escribió el cantautor.
Por último, aseguró estar preocupado por los feminicidios que son informados a través de los noticieros y concluyó “que, si no le pegas a tu pareja, no la muerdes, le pateas la cabeza o la apuñalas, entonces no eres un peruano normal. Qué lástima”.
