El Ministerio de Cultura, junto con la Dirección del Libro y la Lectura, convoca a escritores, personas naturales con negocio, autores y autores-editores, a la quinta edición del Premio Nacional de Literatura, que promueve estimular a la creación y producción literario editorial del Perú. La fecha de inscripción es hasta el 16 de abril.
El Estado Peruano, otorgará un reconocimiento oficial a las obras literarias que han sido publicadas entre el 1 de enero del 2019 hasta el 31 de diciembre del 2020. Dentro de las categorías que se premiaran están: poesía, cuento, literatura infantil y juvenil.
Este año se acordó en que los ejemplares serán recibidos de manera física y virtual ya que, si existe algún inconveniente en acercarse, puedan participar. Asimismo, los postulantes podrán ser aceptados a cualquier categoría, siempre y cuando cumplan con los requisitos que señala las bases del Premio.
Las bases del concurso lo podrán visualizar en la siguiente página web: https://www.gob.pe/institucion/cultura/campa%C3%B1as/3407-premio-nacional-de-literatura-2021. Las postulaciones son de manera gratuita y siguiendo la información a través de la Plataforma Virtual de Tramite del Ministerio de Cultura, desde el 1 de marzo.
El premio consta de una medalla conmemorativa, diploma de honor y una suma económica de S/10,000.00 que será otorgado para cada categoría, de acuerdo con el fallo de un jurado especializado. La empresa Anglo American Perú S.A. será nuevamente la que brinde dicho reconocimiento.
