El presidente de la República, Francisco Sagasti, confirmó que el primer lote de 300 mil dosis de vacunas del laboratorio chino Sinopharm arribará al Perú este domingo siete de febrero. Señaló que las vacunas fueron embarcadas este viernes 5 de febrero de Beijing, China.
“Hoy se ha logrado concretar el embarque de un primer lote de 300 mil dosis que llegará el domingo en la noche a Lima. El resto [del millón de dosis] está programado para salir de China el día 13”, anunció el mandatario desde la sede del Centro de Operaciones de Emergencia Nacional (COEN).
Aseguró que el COEN se encuentra listo para asegurar que la cadena logística de la vacuna opere eficientemente en su traslado hacia el Perú y en todo nuestro territorio.
“La vacuna es el mejor escudo contra la pandemia, pero requiere del compromiso y esfuerzo adicional de todos los peruanos y peruanas para cumplir estrictamente los protocolos y restricciones de movilidad”, advirtió.
