El Presidente Francisco Sagasti, acudió ese jueves a la base Mazamari en Satipo, Junín, para buscar información acerca del atentado ocurrido en el Centro Poblado de San Miguel, Vraem, reuniéndose con el Comando Conjunto de las Fuerzas Armadas.
Se dirigió a la prensa para comunicar que las elecciones del 6 de junio se realizarán con toda seguridad y sin ningún problema.
«Tengan la absoluta seguridad que el proceso electoral del 6 de junio no tendrá problema ni manera de interrumpir el curso normal de la democracia», mencionó Sagasti.
También se pronunció acerca del atentado en el VRAEM donde fallecieron 16 víctimas, indicando que no quedará impune.
«Tengan por seguro que esto no quedará impune. Las Fuerzas Armadas y las fuerzas policiales trabajan conjuntamente para poder proteger a la ciudadanía, no nos quedaremos así», enfatizó.
