El 13 de mayo de 2007, se recuerda el trágico accidente automovilístico que terminó con la vida de todos los integrantes del grupo musical Néctar en el barrio San Cristóbal, en Buenos Aires (Argentina).
Se cumplen 14 años de aquel accidente, donde trece personas, integrantes de la banda, representantes y el conductor del vehículo murieron en el accidente, que se produjo cuando se dirigían a cumplir con una presentación en un conocido local bonaerense.
El suceso se confirmó por las autoridades argentinas, mencionaron que se trató de un accidente de tránsito. El fatal desenlace se originó por un múltiple choque, esto descarrilo que la camioneta en la que iba el grupo, caiga por el vacío de un puente, esto dio como especulaciones de una mafia que perseguía a la agrupación.
El grupo Néctar estuvo integrado por Jhonny Orozco (voz), Enrique Orozco (bajo), Juan Marchand (batería), Pascual Rayme (teclado), Pedro Pablo García (animador), Daniel Cahuana (guitarra), Ricardo Hinostroza (tumba), Miguel Porras (timbales) y Diego Orozco (segunda voz).
