El Poder Legislativo decidió darle más tiempo a la comisión multipartidaria encargada de realizar el proyecto que reformará las AFP y la ONP.
El Congreso decidió en el Pleno ampliar por 60 días más el plazo para la entrega del proyecto de reforma del sistema de pensiones.
La ampliación de plazo tuvo 109 votos a favor, 2 en contra y cero abstenciones.
Ahora la Comisión multipartidaria encargada, liderada por la congresista Carmen Omonte, tendrá hasta la quincena de febrero para presentar la iniciativa.
«Aún estamos en proceso de evaluación del costo fiscal de pensiones no contributivas, del costo fiscal de garantía de pensión mínima, y del costo fiscal de otros incentivos de contribución», dijo Omonte en su presentación en el Pleno.
¿Qué se ha avanzado?
A inicios de octubre la Comisión presentó una propuesta que planteaba la creación de un solo sistema previsional basado en tres pilares: el base, contributivo y adicional.
El nuevo sistema previsional garantizaría una pensión básica universal para todos y generará incentivos para incorporar a independientes.
Además, se aprobó la creación de un nuevo administrador de pensiones público, dejando de lado las AFP y la ONP.
Este ‘Organismo Público de Pensiones (OPP)‘ se encargaría de gestionar el nuevo sistema
