Germán Málaga admitió ante la comisión COVID- 19 del Congreso que hay un 9% de vacunas que está por investigar. Es decir, hay 280 dosis con las que se ha inoculado a otro grupo de personas fuera de la lista difundida de los 487.

El investigador principal de la Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia (UPCH), Germán Málaga, acudió a la citación del Congreso y reconoció que el Gobierno de la República China, entregó 3.200 dosis adicionales de la vacuna Sinopharm, sin incluir el lote destinado a las pruebas clínicas. De esa cantidad, 600 integrantes de la embajada China en Lima, se beneficiaron con 1.200 dosis contra la COVID- 19.

Durante la sesión, el doctor Málaga confirmó que 2.000 dosis quedaron en su poder, con las cuales inmunizó a 487 personas; entre ellos, el expresidente Martín Vizcarra, su esposa y su hermano; como también, funcionarios del Ministerio de Salud, de la Cancillería y otras personas externas a los estudios clínicos. 

En ese sentido, precisó que de las 487 vacunados, solo 390 recibieron la aplicación de 2 dosis, y de los 97 restantes, solo una y otros 3. 

Sin embargo, Málaga señaló a los parlamentarios que hay en stock 803 dosis; que al restarla con las 2.000 que recibió, quedarían 280 dosis, concluyendo que “de las 3.200 dosis recibidas (1.200 que designó a la embajada de China y 2.000 que llegaron a la UPCH), el 91% de las dosis no tienen ninguna objeción y es el 9% que está por investigar”.

Lo que se aduce que hay 280 vacunas (9%) faltantes con las que se ha inmunizado a otro grupo de personas que no figuran en la lista de los 487, y que no es de conocimiento suyo.
