La mañana del pasado lunes 12 de abril las calles de Jr. Jorge Chávez y Jr. Orbegozo en el Distrito de Breña amanecieron llenas de bolsas de desmonte, ante esta situación los vecinos presentaron una denuncia a Contigo Tv.

Luego del pedido de los vecinos, nos acercamos a las mencionadas calles y encontramos a personal de la Municipalidad Distrital de Breña realizando el sembrado de plantas y pintado de los repositorios de las mismas, pero cuando se les preguntó que protocolos seguían para hacer cumplir la normativa municipal de la prohibición del tirado de desmonte y que van hacer para recogerlo, se pronunciaron de la siguiente manera:

“Eso es cuestión ya de la misma vecindad, que nos apoye porque esas calles se limpian toda la semana, a diario, lamentablemente la misma gente no nos apoya a veces los mismos vecinos tiran todo eso”, comenta un colaborador de jardinería de la Municipalidad de Breña.

De igual manera en el mismo lugar se encontraba César Fernando Ibáñez Alfaro Gerente de Asuntos Comunales y Gestión Ambiental.

“La verdad es que nosotros como municipio estamos concientizando día a día a la población, pero ya es parte de que no entienden que está prohibido arrojar desmonte a las calles, en ese sentido invocamos a la población a que no esté arrojando el desmonte porque esto se ha convertido en todo un botadero, diariamente estamos recogiendo todo en el desmonte, lo que pasa es que eso ha sido el día de ayer y el día de hoy vamos a recogerlo”, afirmó Ibáñez.

Finalmente, el personal de limpieza pública se comprometió a recoger el desmonte de todas las calles y de igual manera seguir concientizando a la ciudadanía sobre el horario para botar la basura y las ordenanzas municipales, ya que a raíz de estos acontecimientos varios vecinos se niegan a pagar sus arbitrios, es por ello que la Municipalidad afirma su compromiso para la mejora del distrito, satisfacción y bienestar de los Breñenses.
