Sporting Cristal mostró toda su jerarquía y venció 2-0 a Unión Comercio, este domingo, en el Estadio Miguel Grau del Callao. Con anotaciones de Irven Ávila y Horacio Calcaterra, los 'celestes' se meten a la definición del título de la Copa Bicentenario 2021.

Una primera parte, única y totalmente favorable a los dirigidos por Roberto Mosquera que ganaron en posesión del balón para poder llevar daño al arco contrario. En ese aspecto, tuvieron más una ocasión clara, pero no supieron dar el toque final para resolver. 

Por su lado, el cuadro de Nueva Cajamarca estuvo cerca de ponerse arriba sin mucho esfuerzo. Y es que una mala salida del arquero Renato Solís, culminó en un disparo de Sergio Almirón que por suerte terminó chocando en el poste 'rimense'.

Ya para la segunda mitad, Cristal adelantó sus líneas y fue mucho más contundente. Así, apenas en 54 minutos tras un tiro de esquina que fue mal rechazado por la defensa rival, la aprovechó Irven Ávila quien colocó el esférico en el palo más lejano del guardameta.

No pasaría mucho tiempo y a los 58', Horacio Calcaterra sacó petróleo de un nuevo error en el rechazo defensivo para rematar cruzado y sentenciar el encuentro.

De esta manera, Sporting Cristal se mete a la definición del título de la Copa Bicentenario 2021, donde se medirá a Carlos Mannucci; que venció en la tanda de penales 5-4 a Atlético Grau de Piura. La cita para este duelo es en primera instancia el próximo 27 de julio.
