FBC Melgar logró un gran triunfo por 3-2 este martes frente al equipo Metropolitanos de Venezuela, en el marco de la primera fecha de la fase de grupos de la Copa Sudamericana. El cuadro ‘rojinegro’ remó desde atrás ya que con el marcador en contra, tuvo el corazón para dar vuelta y llevarse los tres puntos hasta Arequipa.

Tras desperdiciar un penal en los pies de Bernardo Cuesta a los cinco minutos, el partido siguió encendido ya que a los 9’ Abraham Bahachille ponía el primero para Metropolitanos. El equipo venezolano extendería su ventaja mediante Marco Bustillo, a los 22 minutos, sin embargo, Bernardo Cuesta (45+5′) tuvo revancha y previo al descanso descontaría.

En el segundo tiempo, la historia cambió, el dominio fue “domino” y tras una gran asistencia de Paolo Reyna, Luis Iberico emparejó el partido a los 53 minutos. Ello en cambio no hizo que Melgar se conformara, y a partir de una clara superioridad, pudo revertir el resultado. Casi por terminar el partido, a los 88′ un gran desborde de Kevin Quevedo terminó en una precisa habilitación a Jhonny Vidales quien desataría la locura en el banco.

Es la primera vez en la historia que un equipo peruano remonta un 2-0 en contra de visita. Una gran victoria que le permite a FBC Melgar, ir pensando en su siguiente presentación en la fase de grupos, el cual se dará el próximo miércoles 28 de abril cuando reciba a Aucas de Ecuador, que perdió por el otro partido del grupo contra Athletico Paranaense.
