Alianza Lima y Deportivo Municipal se enfrentan en el estadio Alberto Gallardo por la segunda fecha de la Liga 1, un partido que se había suspendido debido a la inclusión del equipo aliancista después del fallo del TAS.
Los dos equipos buscan su primera victoria en el torneo, pues Municipal ha perdido los dos partidos que ha jugado ante Sport Huancayo y Universidad Cesar Vallejo, no pudiendo anotar todavía ningún gol. Mientras que Alianza empató en su debut 2-2 ante Cusco FC.
En el historial que ambos poseen en los últimos 15 encuentros, hay mucha igualdad, siendo seis los empates que se registraron. Los ediles lograron quedarse con el triunfo en cuatro ocasiones, mientras que los blanquiazules lo hicieron en cinco oportunidades.
El choque también se muestra atractivo por el posible debut de Jefferson Farfán ante el equipo en el que desarrolló sus divisiones menores. Todo quedará en la decisión del técnico, Carlos Bustos, de si le dará minutos o no al atacante de la Selección Peruana.
“Se viene un partido importante y difícil. Si bien al rival no le ha tocado sumar, ha jugado dos partidos en toda la campaña y es un equipo que tiene su complejidad, también sus jugadores importantes, así que estamos terminando la preparación para llegar con todo el día martes”, declaró el entrenador argentino.
Mientras que Franco Navarro, estratega de Municipal expreso: “Tenemos que levantar la cabeza, mirar de frente y analizar lo que pasó, asumir cada uno su responsabilidad y entrenar. Es mi responsabilidad que este equipo funcione, obviamente que queremos que funcione ya, pero no es tan fácil, sobre todo con los rivales que nos han tocado. O nos fortalecemos y salimos todos juntos o se nos complica la vida”.
