El canal responsable de este gran avance es Movistar Deportes, el cual ya culmina detalles para el inicio de este gran certamen.
La Liga Femenina 2021, organizada por la Federación Peruana de Fútbol (FPF), iniciará el próximo sábado 29 de mayo y tendrá como sede el Estadio de San Marcos. Tendrá 98 partidos en los que participan 14 equipos, los cuales disputarán dos fases. En la fase inicial se enfrentarán todos contra todos y luego se disputará la fase final. El fixture del campeonato se dará a conocer en los próximos días.
Este hito ocurre tras el acuerdo firmado por Movistar con Mediapro, empresa que obtuvo los derechos televisivos para la producción, distribución y comercialización de la Liga Femenina por las próximas dos temporadas.
Mediapro producirá todos los partidos para Movistar utilizando un novedoso sistema en el que usará la inteligencia artificial en algunas de las cámaras 4K para la transmisión de los encuentros.
