Sporting Cristal sigue celebrando en la punta luego que venciera por 2-1 a Alianza Lima en el Estadio Nacional, dentro del marco de la fecha 6 de la Liga 1. Un ‘doblete’ de Alejandro Hohberg le permite a los ‘celestes’ alargan su buena racha, teniendo puntaje perfecto al conseguir seis victorias consecutivas en el Grupo B de la Fase 1.

Los dirigidos por Roberto Mosquera pudieron abrir de manera temprana el marcador cuando apenas se acomodaban en el terreno de juego. Así, en tres minutos del encuentro Alejandro Hohberg tomó el balón, se perfiló y mandó un centro al segundo palo, en busca de que alguien la empuje, nadie pudo desviarla e hizo que Steven Rivadeneyra tuviera una floja reacción, colocando el primero del encuentro.

Esto no trajo abajo a los ‘blanquiazules’ que tuvieron en su delantera, con Hernán Barcos, como una de sus armas más peligrosas en la zona ofensiva. El popular ‘Pirata’ siempre intentó no solo ser una opción al gol, sino que también servía a sus compañeros para que estos intentaran la diferencia.

Fue entonces que a los 42 minutos, el empate llegaría de una mala salida defensiva de Alejandro Gonzáles a la que Pablo Míguez respondió y encontró a Wilmer Aguirre que cabeceo por encima del arquero Alejandro Duarte.

Ya en la segunda mitad del segundo tiempo, parecía que la tendencia se repetía y es que, en apenas el arranque del mismo otra vez, Sporting Cristal se pondría en ventaja. Una falta más que clara de Kluiverth Aguilar sobre Hohberg, barriéndose dentro del área, le permitió al atacante celeste definir desde los doce pasos; anotar su ‘doblete’.

El intento de los ‘blanquiazules’ volvió a aparecer más a partir de los recambios, el empuje y ganas de los propios futbolistas; pero el mérito de Cristal estuvo en su defensa que siempre se mostró sólida para evitar ver si valla batida. No obstante, los ‘celestes’ pudieron haber cerrado el marcador desde  el contragolpe con sus hombres de ataque esta tarde, pero el ecuatoriano Washington Corozo terminaría desperdiciando la ocasión.

Con la victoria concretada, Sporting Cristal llega a los 18 puntos en la tabla del Grupo B en seis encuentros disputados. Mientras que Alianza Lima, que cae por primera vez en el torneo, queda en el sexto lugar con 6 unidades.
