El representativo del oriente tuvo que esforzarse al máximo para dar cuenta de un oponente que vendió caro su derrota, esto a pesar del tempranero gol que marcó Ibargüen en favor del 'Poderoso del Altomayo'.
Con el marcador a su favor, se esperaba que Unión Comercio maneje con mayor tranquilidad las acciones, pero fueron Los Chankas quienes se apoderaron del balón y comenzaron a presionar en campo contrario, logrando así de forma rápida el empate con un tanto de Machado.

Para los minutos restantes del compromiso, el factor físico jugó a favor de Unión Comercio que en su intento por jugar en campo rival, obligó a cometer un claro penal en el último minuto. La pena máxima fue ejecutada por Sergio Almirón, quien marcó y así llevó a su equipo a la segunda ronda de los Play Off de Liga 2.
El siguiente oponente de Unión Comercio en su camino por llegar a la Liga 1 será Carlos Stein, que venció este martes a Deportivo Llacuabamba.
