Un gol en propia puerta del portero Carlos Lampe y otro de Edinson Cavani sobre el final, le dio a los 'charrúas' la clasificación a los cuartos de final del certamen.
La fortuna no acompañó al guardameta Carlos Lampe, quien marcó en el minuto 40 en propia meta cuando el defensa Jairo Quinteros intentó cortar un centro de Uruguay a ras de piso, pero el despeje golpeó en el portero de la ‘Verde’ y entró al arco para el 0-1.
El segundo gol de Uruguay llegó por intermedio de Edinson Cavani, su tanto número 52 con ‘La Celeste’, quien recibió en el minuto 79 una asistencia de Facundo Torres y remató con gran aplomo dentro del área para vencer a Lampe y poner el 0-2 en el marcador.
De esta forma Uruguay acumula cuatro puntos y se ubica en la tercera posición, mientras que Bolivia en el fondo de la tabla sin puntos quedó eliminada de la Copa América.
En la quinta y última fecha que se jugará el próximo lunes, Uruguay se enfrentará con Paraguay y Bolivia se medirá con Argentina. Descansará Chile
