Un golazo de Messi de tiro libre no alcanzó a la Selección Argentina, que desperdició varias opciones de gol ante una fortalecida selección chilena, y cedió un empate 1-1 este lunes en el estadio Nilton Santos de Río de Janeiro en el primer partido del Grupo A de la Copa América.

Los dirigidos por el uruguayo Martín Lasarte dominaron el balón durante el inicio del partido pero la Albiceleste supo contrarrestar y ser incisivo a partir de Lautaro Martínez. Para la segunda parte Chile salió con todo a empatar y Argentina, repitiendo los descuidos en defensa del último partido por eliminatorias, salió desconcentrado y se vio sorprendido por el ímpetu de los de La Roja.

Así, en el minuto 57 una jugada a favor de Chile que fue analizada por el VAR se convirtió en penalti contra Argentina concedida por el árbitro colombiano Wilmar Roldán. Eduardo Vargas tomó el rebote después de que Emiliano Martínez contuviera el remate a Arturo Vidal con lo que llegó el empate de la Roja.

Argentina y Messi lo intentaron y en el minuto 69 realizó un tiro que pegó en un defensor chileno y se fue al tiro de esquina. Pero la albiceleste no se vio clara, desperdició varias opciones y Chile se mantuvo fuerte en defensa.

El viernes próximo, en la segunda jornada del grupo A, Chile se verá las caras con Bolivia y Argentina protagonizará el clásico del Río de la Plata contra Uruguay.
