Carlos Mannucci sufrió más de la cuenta para vencer a Atlético Grau y clasificarse a la gran final de la Copa Bicentenario. El conjunto trujillano se impuso en la tanda de penales (5-3) tras haber igualado 2-2 en el tiempo regular. Ahora, los carlistas definirán el torneo ante Sporting Cristal. 

Mannucci y Grau disputaron un entretenido y reñido encuentro en el estadio Iván Elías Moreno de Villa El Salvador. David Dioses abrió la cuenta a los 19' tras una gran jugada individual de Osnar Noronha. Minutos después, los piuranos adelantaron sus líneas en busca del empate.

Sin embargo, erraron en los últimos metros y abusaron de la pierna fuerte. Ya en la segunda mitad, Mannucci aumentó la cuenta por intermedio de Jean Pierre Fuentes a los 53', quien apareció por detrás de su marca y envió el balón al fondo de la red previa asistencia de Horacio Benincasa.

Grau, herido en su orgullo, continuó buscando el arco rival y sobre los 82' encontraron el 1-2 tras un cabezazo de Santiago Pallares. Este tanto animó al cuadro albo que a los 91' encontró el agónico empate en los pies de Arly Benites. Finalmente, en la tanda de penales Heredia atajó el disparo de Pallares y Mannucci se quedó con el boleto a la final.
